Does k-ID store my facial scan or ID?

No. k-ID does not store information you provide during the age-assurance process such as your ID documents, facial scans, or biometric data.

Depending on how our client has configured their age assurance flow, some checks are performed on device in a privacy preserving way, while others are handled by third party age assurance providers, that delete the information you provided once your age group is confirmed. Neither k-ID nor our clients retain a record of the information you provide to verify yourself; all we receive is the outcome of the process.
