How do I verify my age with the help of a Parent or Guardian?

If provided as an option in your jurisdiction, you may bring in a parent or legal guardian to attest that you are old enough to use a service. To do this, you will need to provide the email address of your parent or legal guardian, and we will email them with a unique link to complete verification.

The parent or guardian will have to verify that they are old enough to provide consent based on applicable law. Note that the methods available to them to verify their age may differ from the methods available to you when verifying yourself.

The process of a parent or legal guardian providing consent works as follows:

1. Enter a parent or guardian’s email address
When prompted, the user must provide a valid email address belonging to their parent or legal guardian.

2. The parent or guardian receives a consent request
An email will be sent to the provided address with instructions to begin the consent process.

3. The parent or guardian completes verification

4. Consent is approved
